I'm currently responsible for risk-based approach reviewing for system implementation at a major bank.
The reviewing process will vary depending on the scale and complexity of the system, but there are set times for reviewing when investment policies are being decided, when detailed design is being started, when test plans are being made, and before release, and the review will be carried out in line with a huge number of review perspectives. If any risks are found, the review will compile a list of recommendations and track whether or not they have been implemented by the deadline.
I need to complete a report for one review within 10 days, which can be challenging when dealing with extensive review materials or complex systems.
This role constantly tests my reading comprehension, insight, and ability to create logical reports, and I believe it's a perfect fit for the experience and knowledge I've gained over the years in system implementation.
The workplace is full of seasoned professionals with diverse experiences, which is very stimulating.
Having various people means having various perspectives, including those who offer sharp insights from completely different angles than my own experience. Thanks to this, I feel excited every day. Although I still feel I have much to learn, I find my work very fulfilling.
